[ideate]
Curiosity drives my ideation. There are many things about the world I want to learn more about. I ask questions and try to look at things from different perspectives. By understanding the world around me, I can define problems and ideate solutions.
[research]
[design + explore]
I am a history nerd! Research is the foundation of my process. Before I begin creating solutions, I need to understand more about my topic. I explore different research methods depending on the topic. These include surveys, basic research, interviews, observations, and documentaries.

Time to design!
Once I have enough research, I can begin exploring potential solutions. From color and type exploration to logo sketches, I utilize my research as a basis for my designs.
It’s okay to fail.
Failure is a part of the process. It’s essential to embrace it. I use what I’ve learned to create better solutions.
Time to design…again!
After critique, I go back to my research. I utilize my research and critiques to redesign new solutions.
My final results!
